Support Canadian tech founders to build across borders
Speedpixel's COO Mr. Andre Lin, a member of the Cancham HK's innovation committee, was glad to support the event HK Fintech Week: Fintech Synergy Across Canada – HK – GBA, hosted by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong as an official satellite event of Hong Kong FinTech Week at Google Hong Kong.
The event brought together Canadian fintech startups, investors, industry leaders, and government representatives to explore cross‑border expansion opportunities between Canada, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area. Showcases from the visiting Canadian startup delegation highlighted the global ambition and strong innovation coming out of Canada.
What stood out in the discussion was how Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem, investor community, and government support continue to make it a compelling gateway for Canadian founders looking to scale beyond their home market and into Asia. Practical insights on localization, market entry, and regional collaboration reinforced Hong Kong’s role as a launchpad for growth.
